Olha, sobre o VS 2015 eu ainda não vi nada, até porque em casa estou somente com o 2013 e to esperando minha faculdade liberar a conta da Microsoft para que eu consiga fazer um upgrade de versão.

Em Open apareceu a mesma coisa, ai fui em import selecionei o mapa e deu isso, cliquei em Não e sucess mais tudo preto. Clicando em sim ele da essa mensagem \/

Trava por que o mapa é grande, provavelmente... Tente abrir o map editor, ir em file - import - import map. Talvez não trave.
