[Tibianews] On the Second Day of Testing ...

... I decided to buy some potions at Rabaz' magic shop in Farmine, when he suddenly started to talk to me about his passion: botany, or plant studies. To share his love for the Tibia flora, the magic shop owner decided to write his own botany almanach, in which he describes the plant life all around Tibia. He has even reserved an appendix for some newly discovered plants in Zao. Eventhough they're visibly corrupted, they possess a special inner beauty that only true botanists can discover and appreciate, as stated by Rabaz. Unfortunately, he still needs specimens of two species which are very difficult to gather: the Dreadcoil and the Giant Verminous. He needs brave adventurers like you and me to gather these specimens. Luckily, he offered me a copy of his almanach, to help me with my work.

 

 

 

 

I first decided to search for the Dreadcoil. Reading the almanach, I discovered I had more chance finding this plan underground. So with the first chance I got, I went down, and I landed between a bunch of starving gnarlhounds ... just my luck. After some old-fashioned hack-and-slash work, I managed to escape their fierce teeth and went on to discover the underground tunnels. Eventually, I stumbled upon a strange sight. A part of the gnarlhound tunnels was obviously corrupted by some strange force. All kinds of ugly plants filled this tunnel section. And among those, was the Dreadcoil! Using a very sharp knife, I cut off some leaves and put them between the pages of Rabaz' Almanach

 

 

 

 

So, I already gathered the Dreadcoil sample. Next, the Giant Verminous. I had already discovered all the gnarlhound tunnels, but no sight of any verminous. There were enough hounds and lancer beetles, but not the plant I was looking for. So, I went up again I searched for another underground area. Because the almanach stated that the giant verminous could also be found beneath the soil. And I did find it. Deep inside a nest of lancer beetles and wailing widows, there was another corrupted region, containing a monsterous purple abomination: the Giant Verminous. Just like with the dreadcoil, I cut of some leaves and put them between the botany book's pages.

 

 

 

 

Once that was done, I returned to Rabaz, stuffed his book into his arms, and decided never to return to those corrupted unholy places ever again!
