    a Linguagem LUA em si é utilizada em scripts e ela se trata de uma linguagem de programação, eu não diria que sabendo programar em LUA você vai saber nas outras, eu digo que se você tem o conhecimento de logica de programação em geral, você vai conseguir se virar com outras linguagens a maior dificuldade inicial pode ser a sintaxe e como em algumas linguagens como o C++ é utilizado classes.
