[Tibianews] Hunting Spot of the Week

This week, we're taking you to the cold islands in the north of Tibia. In the secluded island Grimlund, a formerly nomadic tribe of little furry creatures, the Chakoya, have built a village, which they call Inukaya. To reach Grimlund, you first must have cured the dogs in a mission of the Ice Islands Quest. Once you've accomplished that, you can use a lonely sled (the black cross in the first picture) to reach Grimlund. Once there, you have two ways to reach the Chakoya village. Either you follow the black route over land, or you follow the red line to a hidden hole and reach Inukaya from underground.

Inukaya is divided by three main floors, which consist of ingenious tunnels dug by the Chakoya.

All three floors contain lots of Chakoya, which appear in three classes: the Tribewardens are the hunters and the warriors of the tribe. The Toolshapers are a tad more intelligent but physically slightly less stronger. They form the craftsmen among the Chakoya. And last but not least, the Windcallers are the magicians among the furry creatures, and considerably more powerful than any other classe. Chakoya carry interesting weapons with them, like the Mammoth Whopper, which can be sold to Rashid. They also carry rare fish: the rainbow trout, northern pike and green perch.

Some interesting facts about Inukaya:

  • The third floor of the village shows a dinstinctive spiral shape. Either the Chakoya are mathematically a lot more intelligent than we think. Or they received help and guidance from outside when building those tunnels.
  • In one of the many iglos, a barrel can be found that contains something interesting. A shard!
  • The Chakoya look furry and docile, but they're far from huggable. They are responsible for the slaughter of the stranded explorers at the shipwreck, as you can read in the Diary of Captain Ogden Brewboiler.
