Kate Middleton Favors Erdem & Brits In CanadaJuly 5 5:53 PMby Daisy Alioto 0 Comments Photo: Getty Images Ever since Kate Middleton set foot in Canada six days ago, the media's tracked her wardrobe with journalistic zeal (despite plenty of other international royal happenings). Luckily, the Duchess of Cambridge is nothing if not prepared for scrutiny. She came armed with outfits to honor England, Canada and her husband as well as her staple accessoriesa patent nude cheap karen millen clutch and heelsto pair with everything. We covered days one and two before the long weekend, but herve leger outlet while you were BBQing and watching fireworks, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were marching through Ottawa for Canada Day. Kate repeated an already famous outfitthe white Reiss dress she wore for her engagement photosbut it is Canada so she added the Queen Mother's diamond Maple Leaf broocha gift from the people of Canada in 1939 and a maple leaf karen millen hat by Sylvia Fletcher. Too literal? Maybe, but a great display of Canadian pride. She slipped out of that and into a purple look, from her favorite designer, Issa, for a Weezer concert. On Saturday Kate channeled http://kmoutlet365.co.uk/ Princess Diana when she attended a tree planting wearing Catherine Walker, one of her late mother in karen millen outlet online law's favorite labels. The grey Kensington dress featured a triangle collar and deep v-back. On Sunday, Kate turned heads in yet another Erdem dress, an exquisitely embroidered one. (According to reports the designer's already been inundated with orders for the pre-fall look.) Yesterday, the couple visited Prince Edward island. Kate wore an ivory Alexander McQueen sweater dress with navy blue accents. The dress, designed by Alexander McQueen in 2006, may look familiarSarah Jessica Parker wore it in opposite colors years ago. Then today, while touring Yellowknife, Kate paired her trusty nude pumps and clutch with a structured creme shift by Malene Birger. Prince William's lack of wardrobe variety has led some media outlets to speculate that he only owns one suit. They're joking of course, but as the couple sets their sights on California the Duke may be smart to step up his sartorial game. Julie Haus’ First Runway Show! ELLE
Julie Haus’ First Runway Show!September 5 8:25 PMby ELLE 0 Comments I was so excited to see the Julie Haus show today, especially since it is the first runway show the designer has ever done! Titled "Not a Wallflower," the show was spectacular (everyone was sipping delicious Martini & Rossi Proseccohow classy!) and featured an A-list front row that included Leighton Meester, Molly Sims and Jamie Lynn-Sigler. The star studded front karen millen row at the Julie Haus Lucky enough, I got a few minutes with Haus backstage before the show to ask her about the collection. "It's based on the idea of a girl who is a little more rebellious this season," says Haas. "She doesn't necessarily want to be in your face, but she doesn't want to blend into the room either. She wants to put herself together in a quirky, different way that looks like she threw it all on and didn't take much time for it to look planned or perfect." Meredith Stebbins Haus backstage with a model before the show Known for her feminine frocks, Haus decided to work with esteemed ELLE style director, Kate Lanphear to style the show. "Kate is very edgy, funky and cool. I wanted to have that opposite style of who people think we are into this karen millen show," said Haas. Kate Lanphear working backstage Amongst the backstage craziness, I also got the opportunity to speak with Lanphear about the collaboration. "I just adore Julie. I love her to bits. She called me up and wanted to collaborate for her first show and I was so thrilled karen millen online to be able to help her out." Lanphear later went on to talking about her styling inspiration. "We wanted to give Julie's show a little bit on an edge. She had these great ideas about a naughty girl and everyone knows I'm a naughty girl, so it was a perfect fit." Clothing rack backstage Wearing a beautiful, bright yellow swing dress by Haus, I caught up with Molly Sims right before the show started. "Julie is a really good friend of mine and when I need to look girly, she is my go-to girl," said Sims, beaming. Molly Sims before the show in a yellow Julie Haus dress As the show was about to begin, I ran to find my seat (and found the cutest Nintendo DS in the goodie bag). (I absolutely LOVE the neon-sided sunglasses and the bright pink socks on the right!) Just before darting out and back to the office, I made a b-line for Leighton Meester to see what her thoughts were on the collection. "The show was absolutely beautiful! It was a vision, really lovely." Almost more interesting on her love for Haus, Meester admitted to me that she gets nervous when speaking in front of large crowds. "Later on I am going to Fashion Rocks. I am nervous because I am presenting. I am a nervous wreck when it comes to that kind of thing." Leighton Meester with Haus after the show Tags:

Kate Bosworth’s Eyeing the Olsens ELLE
Kate Bosworth’s Eyeing the OlsensApril 15 6:09 PMby Britt Aboutaleb 0 Comments Cher Coulter & Kate Bosworth. Photo: Getty Images If we had to guess which starlet is asked most often to collaborate on something fashion related, Kate Bosworth's name would land somewhere in the top three. And yet, in the age of celebrity collaboration mania, she didn't. Instead, the actress and style icon (sure she's young, but you know she's headed that way) waited. Though Bosworth and her stylist, Cher Coulter, were dying to develop a project together, they were kind of lost. "We wanted it to feel authentic herve leger dress sale to who we are and that's often hard to find. I think when people ask you to come on to collaborate there's some sort herve leger sale of watered down version of what they think will sell, and maybe it does, but that's not what we were interested in," Bosworth said this morning before heading off to Coachella. And so JewelMint was born; if you're web savvy enough to be reading this you probably already knowand loveit. This month Kate and Cher have asked Rachel Bilson to curate a signature piece, and we hear a certain blonde Brit is up next, but Kate's particularly thrilled that her cheap karen millen outlet dream collaborators have recently signed up for their own Mint venture. When asked to name the ultimate collaborator she says, "The Olsens! Speaking of a designer who really designs, I think that they've just done brilliantly with The Row and Elizabeth & James and herve leger outlet I http://kmoutlet365.co.uk/ assume they'll do something really exciting with their profile on BeachMintso I think I'd love to do something with them on their end and have them come in and do something for us." As for her own jewelry, there's one piece Bosworth's particularly fond of, an eternity ring her parents gave her for a birthday, a version of which will soon make its way onto JewelMint. Other than that, the actress has found herself growing increasingly experimental with jewelry. "I feel like I'm wearing a lot more of it and honestly it's not because we're trying to showcase our jewelry, it's because it's exciting to sort of find a different side to me that I haven't explored yet stylistically," she said. We had to askwould she ever consider a collaboration? High fashion? High street? Shoes or bags? "I don't know. I'm happy with this. Cher and I were just discussing that we'd like to...well, we're already thinking about the next profile we'd like to do under BeachMint to branch out a little bit and start dipping our toes into something else," she says. But she's not sure what. "We literally just talked about it herve leger dress sale last weeklike we haven't even talked to Josh [berman, BeachMint's Founder] about it yet. He's probably going to read this and think, `Oh my!'" We hope he reads it and thinks, "Awesome!" Click here to shop Rachel Bilson's JewelMint picks! Tags: kate bosworth Cher Coutler
